Be Creative!

Be Creative!

Remember when you were a kid? I am sure you loved to draw, paint, craft and all sort of these things...being creative was just a normal part of your daily routine, right? Did you enjoy it? I am sure you did. But why have you stopped? Well then life started getting a bit more serious whenever you entered school, am I right? Now it got more important to learn math, spelling, reading, grammar...and somehow the majority of us probably left something behind that was a major part of our childhood; creativity! Just creating something everyday. And even if you still enjoyed it, with school came a lot more pressure while producing art...because we had to fulfil what our teachers demanded from us...and that was not always easy. So many people probably left part of their creative soul behind...which is sad because let's be honest; being creative and creating something beautiful from scratch is something that causes joy, happiness and relaxation.

I loved to draw and paint until I entered high school I think. There it stopped and even though I wanted to become a graphic designer I doubted myself so much at that time that I totally left my dream behind...just when I studied media design I realised how much I love to create and design. Can anyone relate? Have you been there as well?

So I'd say let's all get creative again...for ourselves, no pressure here. Grab a paper and a pen and start drawing or painting something, or write if that is more your cup of tea. Just get creative in a way! Experiment with colors, words...whatever makes you happy!
