Salt Magazine - Costa Brava Beaches Edition
Good morning lovely you reading this! So today I went back into playing around with Editorial Design, which is a field I am highly interested in. I have always loved magazine covers like the ones of Cereal Mag. and Kinfolk. I love how minimalistic they are and how much whitespace is used. When it comes to Design, less is more quite often.
So here I created my own magazine and designed a cover with a very minimalistic approach and soft tones. I went for editing the photo into very soft tones - I am a little influenced here by Paloma Parrot of Instagram, I love how she edits her photos and the soft tones she uses. Needless to say that I am impressed by her photography style as well. Her work is simply amazing!
Photo and Design done by me. This photo was taken in Barceloneta - you know the beach area where all the tourists hang out. I took this photo in the evening when I was sitting at the beach with a friend after we had dinner at Jai-Ca's we decided to watch the sunset at the beach while drinking some good Spanish Rioja.
