Otoño // Fall // Autumn // Herbst

I can feel that Fall is coming closer so I decided to work on a Fall inspired illustration today. Truth is I am not ready to let go of Summer yet. This Summer has been incredible, we had good weather pretty much all the time which is very unusual for Germany. I went many times swimming, to the biergarten and I also spent many Summer evening with friends outside enjoying the warm climate.

Now evenings and mornings are pretty cold already, the trees lose their leaves and the leaves change their colors. Fall is certainly almost here. I like Fall but clearly Summer became my favorite season.

So it’s almost time again to cook pumpkin soup, to make everything cinnamon spiced, baking projects are always fun for Fall as well. Hey, here I already started; yesterday I made my favourite chocolate chip cookie dough, that still sits in the fridge, so the chocolate chip cookie baking can begin later on. But first I have to eat lunch and run some errands and truth is, I should be writing my portfolio for the teaching certification program that I attended in August in Cologne, I still have enough time though but I better start ASAP in order not to have stress in the end.
