Kaliningrad Russia

Another one on the agenda to visit is Kaliningrad. It now belongs to Russia but before World War 2 it belonged to Germany and it was called Königsberg before the Russians took it over. My paternal grandmother is from Königsberg and therefore I would like to visit this place sometime. She said she was back a few years ago but that it looks nothing anymore like it looked before. She told me when she traveled to Iceland that it reminded her a lot of the place she grew up and that I really have to visit Iceland sometime as well. It is on my list of places to see for sure! The list of places I want to see is really long and I already traveled quite a lot in the past but the list of places I wanna visit keeps getting longer and longer it seems. So let’s see when I get to see Kaliningrad, good thing that I started learning Russian, right ;)
