Spring 2019
It is officially Spring but guess what, it was snowing a bit yesterday. Snow in April?! Yes, who would have expected that? I remember last year in April it felt like Summer already, it was so hot and this year all we get in April is snow and terribly cold wind. So therefore I decided to dedicate a little graphic to Spring today since the weather is supposed to get really good next week. Unfortunately I won’t be able to enjoy much of that due to being super busy. Yes, being so busy lately also is the main reason why this blog is a little more quiet now than usually.
My week had been pretty good though despite being super busy and that is a great thing. Well, it should be the goal anyways to work smarter and not harder. More efficient and it won’t burn you out as quickly.
Last week I went to the Café where my collage and illustration work was exhibited and I was super happy about the great feedback that I got from showing my work there. So hearing that made me incredibly happy and I am so happy and thankful that so many people loved my work, took photos of the big illustration printed on canvas and even asked if postcards with my work are available. How cool is that, hearing that was just amazing. And it made me realise that my hard work is really paying off and that people feel how much love, joy and creativity I put into my work. Being creative is great for the one creating and also for everyone else who loves art and design and can enjoy the creativity once we have it exhibited or share it online, that we put into our work.
I can’t believe it is Monday again tomorrow, I had such a fantastic weekend and I really feel like it could be a little longer therefore. But at least temperature should go up tomorrow and we get sunshine again, so that truly is something to look forward to. The next two weeks will be super busy but I hope after that I get back to more regular blogging again because I seriously miss it whenever I don’t have the chance to design, illustrate and write much.
Wishing you all a great start of the new week tomorrow and the next weekend is super close already, right! Thanks to Easter sunny days to enjoy with friends and family are ahead of us and I am really looking forward to it.
