you wanting a sign is a sign

Let’s talk about signs today! You know the feeling that sometimes everything seems to point you into a certain direction? Yes, those are the kind of signs I am talking about. Since my vacation in Croatia I feel that everything is pointing me to moving to the Mediterranean again. So I guess I should take those signs as a hint of moving there again at a certain point. Truth is when I left Barcelona I always dreamt of moving back sometime in the future with more money and running my own design studio and shop there, I even pictured myself opening a small shop near the beach where I sell Mediterranean goods and jewelry. Who knows, maybe this vision will be my reality sometime soon.

Maybe we should start listening more to the signs we get instead of always trying to control everything because truth is we cannot control everything, the desire to control only creates fear and is not leading to desired results, while letting go with the flow and having trust that everything is going to work out usually does the trick. Yes, very hard for a former control freak and former perfectionist to get to that conclusion but I try to let go of my desire to control and then I see that things go a lot smoother.

So from now on I try to keep my eyes open, see the signs, let go of controlling everything and just go with the flow. How do you like this and is it something that also works for you?
