Phylleli Branding Process. Still working on it but I wanted a share the color palette and key words with you so far. #branding #designer #design #graphicdesign #phylleli

Hello dear friends, I totally admit it...I find it incredibly hard to brand myself but here I share with you the color palette that I created so far and the key words that describe my brand. I guess with practise it all gets much easier but in the beginning everything is still tough until you figured out the best way to make things work for you.

I bet you can see and feel the summerish vibes here. I lived in Barcelona and as a kid I spent lots of time in the Florida Keys, which certainly influenced my taste and style a lot. As I mentioned many times before, I loved living near the sea and feel connected to everything mediterranean and tropical as well as organic shapes that make us feel closer to nature.  These are the things I want to combine in my own branding. So here is a collection of the colours and key words that I connect with my own brand, not sure yet how much I will put into the logo design but I already work on incorporating the turquoise or blueish colors into the logo with an organic leavy twist. Well, you will see the result soon as soon as I finished it, I will share it with you.

I thought about incorporating some hand lettering but then I ditched the idea again. Maybe that is because I am not so happy yet with my hand lettering results but the more I practise, the better it should get. I guess I just feel very complexed about my own hand writing because many times people said how horrible my hand writing was, let's see if I will get over that at some stage. Let's be honest, we should listen to ourselves and not care so much about what others say or think. We can't influence it anyway so we better let go of it and just continue doing our own thing.

So the more branding I can do for you the more I learn and then it will get easier. But apparently doing your own branding is hard for most of us, even for us designers. There are so many options when your creativity flows and narrowing it down seems a bit restricting for yourself. When branding someone else it seems easier because you have a clear vision on your mind how you want to visually represent your client but when doing it for yourself the options seem so overwhelming.

Currently I am working on my logo, I will share the result with you as soon as I am finished. If you guys need a new logo or branding, just drop me a line.

The mood board I created earlier. Now I am working on my logo and submarkets. #moodboard #turquoise #designer #graphicdesign #summervibes
