Branding Project; Summer 2017

Yes, you probably realised that I'm totally in love with Summer lately and that Summer inspires me to get really creative with patterns, wallpapers and so on. So I thought, Summer 2017 should get branded. I designed a logo and a color palette. The typography I kept quite minimalistic. So here you find a brand plan for Summer 2017 as well as the tropical palm leaf that I turned into different Summer shades and used as an inspiration for the colour palette. I did not work with a traditional mood board here, instead I created my own mood board to head me into the direction that I wanted this project to go. The graphic below is what I used as my 'mood board', even though it is not a mood board like the ones graphic designers usually work with, but it put me into the right mood for the project, so it worked out perfectly fine. 

I wrote down a few key words that I associate with Summer, for me Summer is a very colourful season so therefore I decided to use a wide range of colours that mean Summer for me. I think we can brand seasons as well, not just businesses and entrepreneurs. Basically I will follow along branding whatever inspires me to get creative with branding.
