Travel Diaries; The Beauty of Iran

Travel Diaries; The Beauty of Iran

In a blog post a few months ago, I already told you that I traveled to Iran in October 2016 and that I was absolutely fascinated by this country. People were incredibly warm-hearted, open-minded, friendly and extremely interested in meeting us foreigners from Europe. I spent three weeks traveling through Tehran, Kashan, Esfahan, Mesr (there we stayed in a beautiful lodge in the desert) and Yazd. Also we spent one night in a Caravanserei somewhere between Kashan and Esfahan.

I was fascinated by the hospitatilty of the Iranians, the food and all the beauty that I saw while traveling through this fascinating country. So for now I will just share a few photos with you from my trip so you can experience a bit of my Iranian travel feeling as well! Enjoy your virtual trip!

These photos were all takes with my iPod touch and edited in VSCO. I might upload some photos as well into another blog post that I took with my DSLR camera and that I will edit in Photoshop then. So here we have iPhonography.

Delicious Persian breakfast at Barandaz Lodge in Mesr, Iran. Eggs with cinammon, dates, small cucumbers, feta cheese, homemade bread, halwa, carrot jam, sour cherry jam. Seriously, one of the best breakfasts I have eaten in my whole life!
