The Mediterranean Taste; Pizza around the World

Everybody loves pizza, right? I certainly do love pizza a whole lot, that is for sure. Oh how did I miss pizza all the years that I did not eat any gluten and barely ate grains in general. But in late 2014 I reintroduced gluten and now I am doing just fine as long as I don't go completely wild on it. 

Well, those of you who have been following along on Instagram, probably noticed that I posted photos of pizza quite often lately. What should I say? Ever since my appetite came back and I enjoy eating again, I crave pizza quite often? Why? Well, I think because it is calorie dense, starchy, salty and melted cheese is never a bad thing either! 

So here I was playing around with a clean, minimal magazine cover for a food magazine that I called 'The Mediterranean Taste' - because you figured it, I have this thing for the Mediterranean cuisine and I love playing around with clean, minimal editorial design. 

The photo I took at my mom's place where we made spelt pizza on her Weber grill that we grilled on a hot stone so we had a real stone oven pizza here. So quick and easy and extremely delicious. 

So, what is your favourite pizza? I love pizza with all sorts of fish and seafood, this pretty much is my favourite or alternatively I love pizza with rocket salad, fresh shaved parmiggiano and prosciutto de parma or jamón serrano.
