Lately I have been reading a lot about the horrible situation in Venezuela and how socialism and a corrupt political system destroyed this country and that people are dying because they don’t have anything to eat. It is so shocking and heartbreaking how much suffering takes place in Venezuela and I feel so sorry for everyone there, it is a catastrophe and a crime against humanity what is going on. Socialism has never brought anything good, that is for sure and safe to say in my opinion.

While reading about the suffering in Venezuela I discovered Meals4Hope which was founded by Venezuelans living abroad and their goal is to feed children in the poorest areas. Donating even just a tiny amount of money will buy food for children. I am usually very critical when it comes to donating money because I am sure that the big well-known organisations use the money for everything but not the cause we are actually donating for but with small organisations founded by people who are affected or have loved ones suffering from the humanitarian crisis, I believe in the cause and that even just donating 2 Dollars helps.

I was not aware of how horrible the situation is, I knew that things have been bad in Venezuela for some time but not not that it is as horrible as it is. There’s not much I can do to help, but I can raise awareness so more people know what is actually happening, so I decided to write a post to raise awareness.
