Saudade // The Logo Series

You know the band Thievery Corporation? I love their music ever since I saw them live at the Rock am Ring festival many many years ago, it must have been in the year 2004. Their music is absolutely mellow and laid back and their album 'saudade' is one of my all time favourite tracks since I discovered it in 2015. It's the perfect summer tune for sure. So I decided to create a logo for this track for my logo series. I love minimal typography logos lately as you know. Since my last blog graphic was a combination of an illustration and collage, I was up for pure typography today. What I love about typography logos is that they are timeless and always do a great job. The best logo is timeless and does not go out of style because it is not just another design fad that gets odd and boring after a few years. Some of my favourite brandings are pure typography. I love typography and can spend hours just exploring fonts, I love altering them and I plan on creating my own fonts at a certain point as well. I could also spend tons of money purchasing fonts and whenever I buy another font it is pure joy for me!
