January 2019

I can’t believe it is January. This is going to be a big month for me. In the beginning of January I focus on a client project for a musician and another big thing I am currently working on is the launch of my online shop. I know, I wanted to launch in December already but it was too soon and also the beginning of December was rough, I did not feel good so I decided postponing the launch to January/February is the best thing to do. A lot of things have to be thoroughly planned and well taken care of, so that is what I am doing lately. I promise the launch date will be soon!

Another thing coming up is my birthday, again another year flew by so quickly. In the past I hated celebrating my birthday but these days it is fun because I get to see my friends and we enjoy a good time together.

I never come up with new year’s resolutions because I think it is only putting pressure and overwhelm on you if you try to change a thousand things from one day to the other. I have a year long agenda of things to work on every day every year so that is where my focus goes and this concept works for me extremely well. I like to spit up my things into tasks for the day and week and through baby steps I get a lot further than I ever would if I decided to do everything at once like people decide with new year’s resolutions. I came quite far already ever since I quit my old job and started blogging and freelancing and I will get much further the more energy, focus, effort and dedication I put into pursuing my dreams and goals.

I feel a lot more confident in my design work and skills than I did when starting out two years ago and that makes me proud and happy. Also I feel more confident in my capability to make good money easily than I ever did before. Overall the improvement in my life is tremendous ever since I left the uncomfortable comfort zone of a “secure” 9 - 5 job as a sad and frustrated employee. “If you can dream it, you can do” it is my motto these days. All the work in self-development and self-improvement, reading all the self-help books, doing the courses on improving my money mindset and the appreciation of deserving all that I desire, constantly improving my relationship with myself thought overcoming my resistance to self-love and self-respect, all of that is starting to pay off already little by little, one step at a time. And that my friend is truly an amazing feeling!
