botanical illustration

I am in love with drawing everything botanical lately. It is super relaxing to do it while listening to a chill out music stream on YouTube, it feels like meditation to me. Listening to music, doodling on my tablet, listening to music, relaxing…all of that makes me happy and that is how I spend quite some time.

So it is Monday again, busy weeks ahead of me. Thankfully I feel better now and my cold is almost gone. I am looking forward to Spring but I am happy that the sun is out at least now. It can be bloody cold, sunny with a blue sky - then I am happy in Winter, I just really dislike Winters with lots of rain, mild temperatures and grey and cloudy skies. That certainly ain’t for me.

Also, I haven’t created a pattern in what feels like forever so I thought let’s do one real quick with the drawing and lettering that I designed before. I really love looking at patterns and I also love creating them. This concept here would totally work for an organic skincare product line because it seems so natural being hand drawn and hand lettered.
