I am so thankful that I slowly rediscover my love for drawing and doodling again - I loved that so much until a certain point and it is a shame I lost my love for it completely but thankfully it is fun again the more often I do it. It's relaxing and freeing my mind.
So today I decided to create a botanical pattern. Not an accurate pattern, instead one with irregularities because I really like that right now.
I had a super relaxing week and I need more weeks like that for sure. Basically I only did things that made me feel well, I met friends and family, got lots of sleep, I ate well, I spent lots of time with drawing blogging and writing and I really hope that I recharged my batteries well enough for the upcoming round of the certification program I am currently doing.
I really hope that this helps me to improve my financial situation and to have enough time to work on my blog and personal projects while not worrying about money and finances anymore because truth is, all those worries completely wracked me in the past one and a half years. It is ridiculous how much money the government wants for you just because you work for yourself. Politics in this country make me so angry but I am not going to focus on this because there is nothing I can do about it anyways.
I am happy to enjoy this slow Sunday today and I really hope the upcoming two weeks won't burn me out as much as the past two weeks did. I also realised once again how important boundaries are and that there are people who really suck all your energy and that the only thing you can do about it is to limit time spent with them. Instead spend time with people who give you good energy and help you recharge your batteries when you spend time with them. Those are the folks we put our focus on.
We should all really focus on doing more of what does us well. I think this is something each one of us should remember every day. Life should be filled with lots of pleasure. Of course it is not possible all the time but we should aim for creating the most enjoyable life for us that we can imagine within our range of possibilities.
