Fall in love with the process and the results will come

I stumbled over this quote sometime ago and thought that there is a lot of truth in it. Sometimes we are impatient when we want something so badly that we tend to forget that the process of getting there is part of the journey and should be enjoyed and not just seen as a huge obstacle.

I have to admit that my work-moral for my own projects has been extremely low for quite some time now. I try not to be so hard on myself but I guess this is because of just working and not taking time off, no getaways because of the current corona situations and just staying at home all the time working is not really helpful for bringing lots of new inspiration.

But it is ok, I recharge my batteries, I work on leaving the fear and anxiety behind and then the motivation to get back to working on my dreams and business projects will come by itself. Probably what is holding my back here as well is fear which leads to procrastination and feeling paralysed. So I am certain once this fear and anxiety issue is not an issue anymore, the rest will come by itself.

Pretty much all I can motivate myself to these days is cooking, baking and reading…

So I will now have some chocolate cake, that I spontaneously made yesterday, for breakfast on this rainy summer Sunday. It is dark and rainy and not really and appealing day to go outside. German Summer is a crazy thing these days, either it is hot and humid like in the Tropics or it rains. There is nothing in between it seems.
