Turning 38

So, I decided to go for something different graphic-wise this year than what I designed all the years before. In the past I went for some florals combined with the number but I thought it is time to spice things up a little bit and to do something different instead.

So wow, time really flies! I can’t believe that I am turning 38 today! I still feel like 25 or 29 but well, that is just a feeling and not the case anymore.

Normally I celebrate my birthday with my friends and this would have been perfect now to have the birthday on a Friday but no - this year there is no party due to Corona and there won’t be any party on Saturday either. I can only hope that the situation gets better soon and that I can hopefully celebrate in Summer then instead. oh, I just remembered that 2 years ago I was planning to have a Sunday morning brunch on my birthday but that had to be canceled because I was sick. So this year it is not any different, the world is a in sick state so no birthday parties or parties of any kind.

Also, my Christmas, New Year’s & birthday staycation (since I could not travel anywhere) will be over soon and I get back to work. Resting felt really good even though I have to admit that I felt stressed due to the whole thing that happened with the guy I had been seeing. Also my plan was to be super productive this vacation but truth is all I did was chill out and I suppose it was much needed after a whole year of just work and no vacation at all. So now I hope to be more productive once the days are getting longer and there is more sunlight.

But at least I will do a bit of celebrating today, just differently than it would normally be the case.
