life is better with palm trees
You might have noticed that I have a major obsession with all sorts of tropical leaves and also that I am very fond of palm trees. Just looking at all that green makes me happy. So today I was playing around with an image of palm trees that I found on www.readcereal.com - needless to say that I am in love with this website. The design and photography are simply amazing! And their palm tree photo was shot on Oahu, Hawaii. I traveled to Oahu many moons ago and loved every minute of my stay there. Even though food was outrageously expensive (well everything else as well, besides The Bus, taking public transport was very cheap)...I pretty much lived on Starbucks coffee in the morning and during the day and evening on sushi that I bought in the supermarket. Dear Hawaii, one day I will certainly come back! Until then, I will dream of Hawaii every other day and create all sorts of tropical inspired graphics.
