TWE No. 24 // Today I no longer need to change the world around me, I just need to change the way I see it. - Gabby Bernstein

'Today I no longer need to change the world around me, I just need to change the way I see it' - The Wellness Edition No. 24 begins with a powerful quote by the amazing Gabby Bernstein.

Have you ever noticed how your perception of the world and certain circumstances influences and affects your thinking and feeling? This is huge! I never realised how much power our thoughts actually have on our own life and let's just call it fate here. We can truly influence quite a lot by the way we look at things, see the world, think and feel.

TWE No. 24 by Phylleli // Today I no longer need to change the world around me, I just need to change the way I see it. - Gabby Bernstein #design #graphicdesign #typography #selfdevelopment #selflove #selfcare #gabbybernstein #luckybitch #chillprene…

I am really back into self-development and self-care again lately since I noticed how bad my mindset had been in the past few months and I noticed that I really have to work on myself to get out of that rut. So whenever I feel stuck, I get back into reading...reading a lot. This whole new self-development journey started with 'Get rich lucky bitch' by Denise Duffield-Thomas and this book really changed my mind and perception a lot. Ever since reading this amazing book, I stopped seeing myself as a victim of let's just say bad politics and bad working conditions for us self-employed folks. I am literally working on changing my perspective and shifting my mind into something that actually helps me to become a happier, healthier and wealthier person. The next book I read was Gabby Bernstein's 'The judgment detox' which I found incredible eye opening and helpful as well. Don't get me wrong, I am clearly not the one to judge other people harshly, but when it comes to myself, I am my hardest critic and judge. And I decided that this is just not helpful, it is pure self-sabotage, so this has to stop as well. Next book I am going to read is by Louise Hay, I will keep you updated about this one as well then.

It is important to break self-sabotaging patterns that hold us back from being the best version of ourselves that we can be and that also sabotage us from reaching our goals. Some people are more prone to self-sabotage than others, that is for sure, but on some unconscious level pretty much everyone often gets the victim of self-sabotage, that is for sure. Just some people do it more than others - the key here is to get out of these habits and to form new habits that actually benefit you so you live a happier life and don't stand in your own way anymore. Can you relate? More or less?

So whenever you feel negative self-talk creeping in that continues to hold you back from your goals or just causes unhappiness, it is important to see what is going on in order to form new beneficial patterns. Awareness of what is actually going on here is the first step and the next step is to develop strategies against it and that is where the books I mentioned above come in super handy since Denise and Gabby are specialists in transforming self-sabotage into good energies that actually help you move forward and getting back into the state of happiness and ease which is the state of mind all of us are longing for. Of course getting there is not a piece of cake, it takes some time and also requires that you are willing to work on yourself in order to shift your mind into something that is beneficial for you and to subconsciously and consciously change your way of thinking and feeling.

Like I said, I just started this new journey but I am super motivated to dive deep into it and then my dear, I will share with you how it goes for me and how I am seeing the world now versus how I saw the world before actively working on my mindset to make a drastic mind shift for the better happen.

Happiness certainly comes from within and outer circumstances of course have a big impact and influence on your happiness but you can still choose how you react to them, if you choose to react in despair or if you react with ease relying on something good to happen in order to support you. I used to be a very depressed person for the majority of my life and I made it to get out of this state which is something I am incredibly proud of. Of course it was not easy, it required a lot of self-reflection and hard work and I am determined that I can also reach a state of happiness and ease after having pulled myself out of such a dark chapter in my life that lasted way too long anyways but I made it and I am super proud of myself that I did not have any major fallbacks ever since. So the next step to allow myself to receive happiness, good health, living with ease, abundance and financial freedom will be doable as well because. I am ready for it.

If you want to change your life for the better, I invite you to follow along my journey that I just started and to dive into it as well. The great thing about doing this together is that we can totally support each other and see how each one of us progresses and that is super motivating and beneficial for everyone along this journey to happiness and healing.
