The Wellness Edition No. 26 // Your Only Limit is You

You ever realised that usually you are the only one holding yourself back? So once you figure this out and notice that it is you limiting yourself, it is much easier to break the pattern and to actually start doing all the things you want to do and always wanted to do.

We tend to self-sabotage ourselves so much out of fear instead of stepping over the limitations we have put on ourselves and to release our fear and to exchange it for inner peace and happiness. Like I said before, I am very much into shifting my mind from living in fear to living in happiness and inner peace - but this takes some time and effort but it totally works. When you let go of old self-destructive patterns, work on having a good mindset, repeat daily affirmations that help shifting your mind then miracles seriously happen. I started this mind shift journey about one month ago and incredible things have happened ever since. I will follow along and then tell you more about it soon.

I have learned so much ever since I quit my job in order to do what I always wanted to do. I have met so many kind people since I left the corporate world and I continue to meet them on a daily basis and this brings me so much joy and happiness.

I am currently reading Gabby Bernstein's book 'The Universe has your back' and it really is mind-blowing. If you want to change your life for the better, start reading Denise Duffield-Thomas and Gabby Bernstein, reading their books seriously changed my life in the past month for the better. It is amazing what reading and willing to work on yourself, your mindset and your perception can do for you. It is a true miracle!

From now on I don't limit myself anymore. I do everything to get everything in life that I want, to learn all the skills I always wanted to have, to meet wonderful like-minded people all over the world and to spread as much happiness and love as I can and to invite you to join the ride. That was also one of the reasons why I started to blog. It is my little safe place to share my thoughts about self-love, self-development, design, traveling and to create as much beauty and meaningfulness as I can. I am not going to limit myself anymore and to create as much as I can, being creative is bringing so much joy and happiness. Ever since I drastically reduced my time on social media, I am so much more focused, it is incredible. If you ever thought about going light on social media, I can only recommend it. Amazing things will happen when you put your focus back on yourself, because that also means you stop limiting yourself and subconsciously work towards your goals.

I am very busy lately with all the work I do, therefore it has been a bit quiet around the blog and possibly more quiet times will follow along since working in different jobs, self-work and self-development take some time and effort. I love to blog, I love to create but the most important thing is to take good care of my needs in order to not burn out and to stay productive. I have so many projects this year, so I always have to make sure to take breaks to recharge my batteries so I can get everything done. Ever since I started freelancing I realised that pretty much everything is possible that you want and that the only one holding yourself is you. Freelancing, being self-employed is so challenging - if you want to make it, you have to leave your old patterns and habits that were led by fear because if you don't, you won't make it. You constantly have to work on your mindset and on your money blocks (if you are like me and most other women, this will be a thing you have to work on) and then success with follow for sure - but first you have to do the work, mentally and of course the work you create to show your skills and to present yourself and your creations to the world.

I was so scared in the beginning but I am so glad now because exposing myself and my skills to the has opened up so many new doors for me and I can't wait to see where this awesome journey is gonna take me. Also, consistency is key. Once you stopped limiting yourself, showing yourself and presenting your work to the world, you have to be consistent and always continue, continue, continue. Everyone who made it to succeed after a while (not days, not weeks, no my friend - usually years of hard work and especially working on your mindset) have made it through consistency and persistence.

Get over your self-imposed limits and 'just do it', 'show up and never give up' and then the rest will follow. Trust the Universe to support you once you manifest your goals, tell the world about them to stay accountable and then you will see magic happen. Take that from me, a very rational skeptic but ever since I let go of my inner control-freak and manifest, stop holding myself back and sabotaging myself, constantly work on my mindset - I really see miracles happen and I still can't believe it. I am very grateful and stoked about all the good turns my life suddenly takes. And so many more great things will follow!

So, stop limiting yourself, find your tribe of like-minded people to get full support on your new mission to living a happy life and leave your fears and self-imposed limitations behind to be the best version of yourself and to create the life you truly ever wanted. So much is possible and so many great things can happen, if you let them happen!
