don't call it a dream, call it a plan
Dreaming is a form of planning, right. So going after the dreams we have is a form of planning. First we have our dream that might be very abstract or kind of abstract but as soon as we focus on the dream it gets a lot more clear and we can take actions towards our dream. And then the dream becomes a plan with goals, structure, from where it can further develop and become reality.
I think following dreams is very important for our wellbeing, for our mental health. Always just having your daily routine, in the worst case feeling stuck in an uncomfortable situation, all that only results in stagnation and stagnation is depressing. So hold on to your dreams, see them as a form of planning, feed them through giving them structure and make them tangible and then turn them into reality. This can only bring you forward! Dare to begin and stop calling it a dream, call it a plan from now on my dear!
