The Wellness Edition No.50 // Take it slow
I have been feeling very exhausted lately so I have to remind myself to take things slow then. There is no rush in reaching our goals, as long as we are consistent and stick with reaching them, then it is all good. But burning ourselves out on our way to get there won’t help anyone. Soooo, it is better to take things slow than. You might have realised that this blog has been a little quiet these days but I am just so busy with working that I did not get much space to design and write for the blog.
I am also doing Marie Forleo’s B-School and I feel that I am way behind in the program since it is super intense and I did not nearly get as much done last week as I intended to due to feeling utterly exhausted. Well, I will try to be more productive this week then. As long as I finish the program it is all good but I don’t have to stick to the given time frame. I can do it in my own speed and that is good. I feel that this program is already now very effective for me, even though I am still working myself through the first modules, but it certainly helps me to get clarity and not to feel utterly overwhelmed anymore when it comes to marketing, strategy and business in general.
I feel that I am learning now what I should have learned back in the days when I was still attending university, but no - here in Germany we are not trained to become savvy business owners, we are trained to become good employees, that is what our government wants. People who think for themselves and criticise the kind of system we live in are not appreciated here.
So, when feeling overwhelmed remember to take it slow but keep going. As long as you go slow, it is all good I’d say and going slow is much better than giving up, right!
